The Road to 100% Giving: Building Sustainable Nonprofits To End Extreme Poverty

Bartlomiej Jan Skorupa, Groundwork Opportunities (GO)

Money, money, money. There is need everywhere. We want to raise a new generation and mobilize the youth! We want to provide jobs for women! We are training future leaders! And on and on. Each beautiful, each worthy. Against a backdrop of mounting social issues and game-changing innovation in the social sector, nonprofits must attract funding through non-traditional ways. Meanwhile, leaders find difficulty balancing this reality while fully devoting themselves to their mission. Learn how Kiva, Universal Giving, and Groundwork Opportunities (GO) do both and give 100% of donations to cause while building resilient and self-sustaining models that alleviate extreme poverty.

  1. Eimhin, thank you for your comment. It’s certainly growing in our industry! More educated people in finance, CSR, philanthropy are being called to lead organizations with strategy and not just the heart. Same goes in working with foundation and corporate dollars.
