Local is Global
Emily Jonas, One World Children's Fund
This session will explore how deep, long term investment in local community leadership is the most effective route to meeting global development goals. We will look at how co-investing becomes increasingly critical when executing locally focused investment strategies. We will also explore how the persistent challenges facing local leadership in global communities block the critical mass of resources necessary from reaching the most sustainable solutions from global development. This session is designed to expand our way of thinking about how capital investments can be executed to meet global development goals.
