The Next Big Idea: Food Waste Innovation Demo Day
Melody Serafino, ReFED
With the $218 billion issue of food waste becoming a global priority, entrepreneurs and funders around the world have taken notice. The result: an exciting increase in innovative products and services that are turning waste into jobs, hunger relief and environmental stewardship. Join ReFED—an entrepreneurial nonprofit initiative that works with decision-makers from across the food system to reduce food waste—for an interactive demo day featuring innovators who are at the forefront of tackling this food waste challenge. Five impact-driven innovators will pitch their projects in front of an expert panel of funders who will serve as judges. Audience members will have the opportunity to weigh in and ask questions.
