Telling Complex Impact Stories that Resonate
Impact investing and strategic philanthropy seek to address complex, entrenched social problems that defy traditional problem-solving and linear decision-making. Most measurement frameworks fail to address this complexity, leaving us with impact stories that are impersonal, incomplete, and divorced from the systems that support them. How can impact enterprises share data-driven impact stories that satisfy and motivate investors, but are still rich enough to do justice to the communities they serve? In this workshop and panel, we will bring together investors, social innovators and impact researchers to share practical advice on impact strategy and how to ensure line of sight between impact goals of investors and enterprises, and successful data-driven impact stories.
