An Investment that Works: Employment Social Enterprise
Lori Warren, REDF
Employment social enterprises are unique types of businesses helping to address some of the most pressing challenges of our time. By employing and providing training and supportive services to people with histories of homelessness, incarceration, addiction, and other high-employment barriers, social enterprises put people on a path to self-sufficiency and a better life. Third-party research shows itβs an approach that works, with $2.23 in benefits to society for every dollar invested. Hear from leaders in this growing movement on how they do it, and learn why social enterprise is an investment that works.
