400 ppm - What Now?

Jessica Margolin, Actionable Analysis

How are our family, friends, and community going to survive the (increasingly likely) coming global meltdown? We will look unflinchingly at the "elephant": - Huge superstorms causing massive human displacement (e.g. Superstorm Sandy) - Extensive water and food production disruptions (Nestle's comment that water should be privatized) - Collapse of financial, governmental and social systems (e.g. Hungary, Jasmine Spring, survivalism, death-by-SWAT team) - Epidemics And then through a guided exercise, we'll characterize these elements and talk about ways to mitigate the risks. Finally, we will discuss what leadership looks like in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Chaotic, Ambiguous) environment.

I will be there if this one happens. I like it and would very much like to hear about your experience and the kinds of change you see as necessary by that comparison.
