The Great Social Enterprise Census

October 1st, 2012

Some may say: another survey, really? But, this one is different! While in the UK, small businesses are asked the simple question: Do you have a social or environmental objective, with surpluses reinvested for those specific purposes in the business or community, rather than to shareholders and owners? The U.S. asks no such question and thus, comparatively to the UK, lacks general knowledge on social enterprise.

The Great Social Enterprise Census is trying to change that! For more information, and to help us aggregate sufficient data on the magnitude of social enterprise, please take the 60 second survey at www.socialenterprisecensus.org
