When it comes to social impact bonds, we’re having the wrong conversation. We need to frame the discussion in terms of direct political benefit and stop trying to sell the social impact. Liberal or conservative, we need to give the elected official something that they can campaign on directly. Reducing deficits without raising taxes is a mantra we can all recite.
