It's exciting to see that there is a gigantic market for food that heals the planet and nourishes its people. A recent New York Times article tried to cast doubt about the benefits of organic farming and implied that organics merely cost more without any improvement in nutrient quality. The article's short-sightedness completely missed the positive impacts organics have on environmental resilience; farmers' rights; and public health concerns related to neuro-toxins in conventionally-grown food. I'm excited to see that new generations of eaters are thinking globally and supporting the collective health with their hard-won dollars. These millennials are placing value on clean land, water, and food instead of micro-managing their personal daily intake of Vitamin C. I'm inspired!
