Article Excerpt: Philanthropy is entering a new stage as funders seek to align capital with impact.  In the spring of this year, The Mott Foundation and the Aga Khan completed a project on three continents, and their findings are compelling related to community based philanthropy.   Communities want to shape solutions unique to their place and identity, and local people are both taking the lead and contributing their own money in favour of an inclusive and equitable society.
