I did not attend this conference (too expensive for some of us!). But I’d be curious how participants react to the news anchor in this segment describing that “attendees came from around the world all wanting to find out how to get a piece of the estimated 25 billion dollars that’s in the US investment market for business focused on doing good.” I want to (hope) believe that attendees at a conference with workshop names like “New Funding Models for Nonprofit Social Ventures ” and “Democratic Capital” were not merely drawn by the paper chase. Please say it ain’t so!!
