Hub Ventures, a startup accelerator that works with for-profit companies solving big social and environmental challenges, is now taking applications for their upcoming Spring 2013 cohort. Startups can apply here. The early application deadline is 10/31 and the final deadline is 12/10.

Hub Ventures provides funding and support to for-profit, scalable startups working in a variety of geographies and impact themes including economic opportunity/job creation, health & safety, collaborative consumption, environmental sustainability, and civic engagement. The program is based at the Hub Bay Area, a purpose-driven collaborative workspace, and provides startups with seed funding of up to $20,000, mentorship with experienced entrepreneurs and investors, guidance from the Hub Ventures founders, weekly workshops and speaker events, peer collaboration, and investor connections.
